Athletics Fiji has named it's youngest squad ever to represent the country at the Pacific Games in New Caledonia in September.
The 25 member team comprises of 21 students most of whom took part in the Coca Cola games this year.
Some of the notable names include: Coca cola Games Blue Ribbon champion Banuve Tabakaucoro, Ratu Tira Narara, Elenoa Sailosi, Sisilia Seavula, Ana Kaloucava, Paulini Korowaqa, Seremaia Liku along with Saint Bedes College student Beniamino Maravu and Suva Grammar's Lepani Naivalu.
Team Head Coach Albert Miller said the students have proven themselves.
Meanwhile, four senior athletes make up the rest of the team in the likes of Sireli Naikelekelevesi, Soko Salaqiqi, Litiana Miller and Milika Tuivanuavou.
Athletics have been winning the most medals for Team Fiji since the 1991 Pacific Games and are the defending track champions in the Pacific Games.
