Athletics Fiji coach, Albert Miller is confident that they can win 15 Gold medals at the Pacific Mini Games which starts tomorrow in Cook Islands.

Miller said sprinters Makelesi Bulikiobo and Niko Verekauta can grab 5 gold medals each from the sprints while the remaining five could be won in the field events.

Bulikiobo and Verekauta will run in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100 and 4x400 metres events.

Miller believes they may face competition from Tahiti and New Caledonia but Fiji athletes will have upper hand against them because of the experience on international level.

Team Fiji left for Cook Islands last night.
