Suva Grammar sprinter Lepani Naivalu and Ratu Navula College’s middle distance runner Osea Dasalusalu have pulled out from the Fiji Athletics squad.
Naivalu and Dasalusalu are injured and will not be travelling to the Gold Coast next week for the Oceania Athletics Championship.
Athletics Fiji coach Albert Miller said their replacements are yet to be decided and hopes the duo will recover in time because they are also in the Mini Pacific Games squad.
The 18 member squad that will be leaving for Australia next week also include Makelesi Bulikiobo, Banuve Tabakaucoro, Niko Verekauta, Iowane Dovumatua, Matiasi Savou and the sisters from Nadarivatu Secondary School, Seremaia and Salote Naulia Liku.
The Oceania Athletics Championship will be held next month.
