Athletics Fiji is now waiting for word from the International Association of Athletics Federation on which junior athlete they will select from Fiji, to go and watch the World Athletics Championship in Germany later this year.

Athletics Fiji coach Albert Miller said they have already sent the Junior Grade's result from the Coca Cola Light Games where IAAF will select three top athletes from Oceania.

Miller said Pacific Games 5,000 meters Gold medalist Akesa Drotini was chosen last year and the athletes that will be chosen this year will receive VIP treatment with all expenses paid.

Miller said a limousine will pick up the three athletes from the airport and it will be good exposure for them to watch world class athletes in action.
