The Health Ministry together with the Blood Bank at CWM hospital has called on the members of the public to assist in donating blood for the patients.
Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said although there is enough blood in the Blood bank at the major hospitals in Labasa, Lautoka and Suva, there is still a need out there for more blood.
Tora said the blood donated by people will save a dying life during an emergency at the Accidents and Emergency Ward and other sicknesses.
The Health Ministry will expect people to donate blood at the Lami town council, Savusavu Chamber and Total Service Station.
