The initial damage assessment report of Tropical Cyclone Mick is expected to be completed soon.
Yesterday a total of 71 evacuation centres remained open around Fiji, with 63 centres open in the Central division.
2,660 people are at evacuation centres in the Central division, 347 people in the 5 evacuation centres in the West and 226 people are in the 3 evacuation centres in the Eastern division.
Acting DISMAC Director, Pajiliai Dobui said some of the people in the Central Division have been severely affected.
He said these are mainly squatters living in the Suva/Nausori corridor.
