The afternoon session in the conspiracy to murder trial did not take long yesterday as the main Interviewing Officer Sergeant Suliano was not present in court as he was on an overseas mission.

Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White took the stand yesterday as a State Witness before Justice Paul Madigan.

White was questioned by Defence Counsel, Mehboob Raza if he could recall where he was on the 3rd of November.

White told the court, he was based at CID headquarters in Suva, where he was directed to be the witnessing officer during Ratu Inoke Takiveikata's caution interview.

Raza asked White who was in charge of CID in 2007, White replied the man in charge was the Assistant Commissioner of Police then, Nassir Ali who was directing the Police officers of their role during the caution interview.

The eight charged with conspiracy to murder the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and others, includes the Qaranivalu, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, Feoko Gadekibau, Barbados Mills, Sivaniolo Naulago, Metuisela Mua, Eparama Waqatairewa, Kaminieli Vosavere, Pauliasi Ramulo.
