Remember to ask for your bus tickets once you have boarded a bus and have paid your bus fare.
This comes after concerns that passengers do not demand for bus tickets once they have boarded the bus or the drivers fail to issue bus tickets.
Land Transport Authority (LTA) Spokesperson Eroni Volavola said those people who fail to demand or drivers who fail to issue tickets could face heavy penalty if caught by the enforcement officers.
Volavola said these tickets should be retained until the end of the journey.
According to Volavola a person could end up paying between $80 to $100.
