Two Asian nationals who were arrested for gambling at a club in Suva last week have been deported to China.

Police have confirmed that the visa of the two had expired and they were overstaying in Fiji at the time of their arrest.

Police reported the matter to Immigration officials who then established that the two were staying illegally in the country.

Meanwhile, another twenty Asian nationals who were arrested for gambling are still under police investigation.

Police are looking for interpreters to proceed with the case. Police raided three clubs and arrested these Asian nationals for gambling.
