Four Asian nationals pleaded guilty before Nadi Magistrate Sayed Mukhtar Shah for nine counts of obtaining goods by false pretence.

The four were charged after they were allegedly found with several fake visa cards which they used to purchase duty free items from outlets in Suva, Sigatoka and Nadi.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Shah has remanded them in custody where they will be sentenced tomorrow at 2.15pm at the Nadi Court.

Police said several other individuals are also believed to be involved in the alleged visa card racket, and further arrests are expected soon.
