Asian National Questioned On Stabbing
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita confirmed this saying charges are expected to be laid by tonight while they await the medical report.
The victim is fighting for his life at the CWM hospital.
The incident took place at Ratu Sukuna Road at 7 o'clock when the security officer was on duty looking after a property when he spotted an unknown man trying to make his way inside the property.
The Officer tried to apprehend the man but in the process he was stabbed several times with a kitchen knife.
Meanwhile, Police are still questioning the Asian National for allegedly stabbing a local fisherman to death in a Chinese fishing vessel over the weekend.
According to Police the incident took place on Friday night and the Captain informed police of the incident.
It is alleged the Asian national stabbed the local fisherman with a kitchen knife after an argument.
Post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
