First timer to the Coca-Cola Games, Ashwin Deo is aiming to bring glory to his school by claiming Gold in the 1,500m event.
The form four student who will be running in the intermediate boys division in the 1,500m as well as in the 400m said that coming from the North and running on the tracks is a dream come true.
Deo is amongst 7 athletes from Naleba Secondary who fundraised for two weeks just to make sure they made it to the Games.
Meanwhile, with the biggest athletics game in the country the Coca Cola Games expected to start in the next hour at the TFL Stadium, different schools have come up with their chants to support their athletes.
Fijivillage got the views of some kids on who they thought were the favourites.
Meanwhile, the Coca Cola Games Torch will begin its final leg to the TFL Stadium this morning at 7.45 from the Coca Cola Head Office in Laucala Beach before it reaches the Stadium at 8am when the Games are expected to begin.
