No vehicles sold by Asco Motors in the Fiji Market are affected by the recalling of a large number of vehicles with accelerator pedals as reported in the global media.
This is the re-assurance from Asco Motors Chief Executive Officer Ian McLean as reports in the global media have highlighted that Toyota Corporation in the US and Europe has recalled a large number of vehicles to address a problem with accelerator pedals.
McLean said they have been receiving many queries from customers and authorities regarding the impact of this recall on vehicles sold in Fiji.
He adds he has received official notification from Toyota Motor Corporation confirming that no vehicles sold by Asco Motors in the Fiji market are affected by this issue.
