The Minister for Education Filipe Bole who will lead a delegation from Fiji to the 10th Festival of Pacific Arts in Pagopago, Samoa, today launched the Sevu ni Meke presentations.
Amongst the presentations today were the dancers from the Rotuma group and the meke group representing the various provinces led by Laisiasa Veikoso.
Veikoso said he has been tasked to lift the standard of Fiji's meke presentations and they have already prepared 5 different mekes namely the war dance, vakamalolo and seasea which will be showcased in the annual Arts festival.
The delegation leaves next week.
