The Interim Government may not be invited but the Fiji Arts Council as a non-government organisation is preparing for the Pacific Arts Festival in American Samoa.
Director Fiji Arts Council, Letila Mitchell said that despite the media reports in New Zealand, the organisation is ready and waiting to finalise the details for the festival.
This follows revelations by American Samoan Governor Togio-la telling the Pacific Community that the invitation could not be extended to Fiji government to attend the Festival.
