Defending Sukuna Bowl champions Army will rely heavily on the combination that ended Police dominance in last year’s showdown at the TFL National Stadium.

Army will wrap up their preparation today, under the guidance of former Flying Fijians Assistant coach Joji Rinakama and Viliame Gadolo.

The side banks on the likes of last year’s winning combination of Alifoso Yalalatabua, Sireli Ledua, Leone Nakarawa, Jolame Bera, Ilitomasi Nawalu, Dale Tonawai, Nikola Matawalu, newly introduced Josaia Lotawa with speed star Maikeli Mocetandra and Sikeli Vuruna on the wings.

Also making his first appearance for the Army side is former national prop, Vesi Rarawa and Manasa Saulo.

The army side is aware that with these experienced outfit have to be in their best form to deny Police from walking away with the Sukuna Bowl tomorrow afternoon who have boosted their side with majority of Nadroga reps in their lineup.

The Sukuna Bowl rugby challenge between Army and Police kicks off at 4pm tomorrow at the TFL National Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Viti-FM with Fiji’s voice of rugby Malakai Veisamasama and 2007 Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua.
