"We have to defend it for our leader."

Those were the words of Army Green captain and Flying Fijian rep, Leone Nakarawa ahead of tomorrow's Escott Shield semifinal against their neighbors Nabua.

Nakarawa says the 98 year old rugby shield the oldest in the country is the only rugby prize left in the Army cabinet and with the presence of Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama tomorrow when he returns from China, it will be a big boost for them to keep the Escort Shield for the 3rd year in a row.

The Kadavu lad added that tomorrow's semifinal means a lot to the boys from the barracks as it is all about doing the basics right after losing the Skaff Work to Navy last month.

Suva Rugby Club Games Chairman, Opetaia Ravai said they now look forward to a feast of rugby in the semifinal tomorrow night.
