Army defied all odds as they beat an experience Police outfit 16-8 in the semifinal of the Escott Shield this afternoon.
Police laced with the services of seasonal reps Samu Bola and Isireli Temo could not stop the onslaught as Army qualifies for the Escott Shield final next week.
In other semifinal, Navy is currently leading Raiwaqa 10-3 midway into the second half.
Meanwhile in the Koroturaga trophy final, Newtown caused a major upset after beating Police 10-5 in an epic encounter.
