Last year's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s losing finalists, Army Red has stamped their mark as the top favourites to win this year's tournament.

The Napolioni Naulia led side has been the only team that is able to go past the 40-points score-line in all of their pool games.

In their opening game this morning they thrashed Saint John Lomary 41-5, thumped Mount Korotiki 41-0 in their second pool game and continued with their impressive performance beating Makoi 43-0.

The side has one more pool game against Sigatoka Motor Spares this afternoon to determine who will come out as pool winner.

Also looking to be in the quarter-finals tomorrow are the defending champions Nawaka which is led by Semisi Naevo - although the side drew 19-all with Island Babas in their second pool game, Nawaka cruised through in their first pool game against Gladiators 35-0.

Also looking good to book a spot in the elimination is Gaunavou of Nadroga, FTG, Lomaiviti with Marika Vunibaka, Namoli which has Vili Satala, Police and Prison Gold with the likes of Tomasi Mawi, Akuila Nawerecagi and Setefano Cakau.
