A senior military officer, Captain Seremaia Tuiteci appeared before Magistrate Amani Rokotuinaviti today charged with careless driving.
The court heard that Tuiteci also allegedly failed to stop when apprehended by police while driving along Ratu Mara Road in August last year.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Today he was told to seek legal advice and to prepare full disclosures from his lawyer.
The case is adjourned to the 8th of next month.
