The Interim Minister for Labour Bernadette Ganilau is expected to make a decision later today on whether to refer the Fiji Nursing Association's industrial dispute to compulsory arbitration which would end the nation wide strike.

However, speaking to Village News last night, Ganilau maintained that there are still signs of talks between the FNA and the Interim Government and she will consult the relevant parties before making a decision.

Ganilau also stresses that the decision to refer the matter to arbitration is solely the prerogative of the Labour Minister.
