Anybody who is affiliated with football through their District or club Association or through Fiji Football Association is entitled to contest for Fiji FA's Presidents position.
This is a major breakthrough for soccer officials in Fiji who could not contest for the top position before.
Fiji FA Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said those contesting for the President’s position need to be a member of the football fraternity at any level.
To date, only Fiji FA Vice President, Rajesh Patel has confirmed that he will contest for the Presidents election in October.
It is not known at this stage whether Dr Samshu Dean Sahu Khan will contest for his position.
