Gareth Anscombe is looking forward to facing his previous team the Blues after returning from injury.

The Chiefs fullback was on break for nine weeks after breaking his foot at training.

Anscombe, who made a name for himself as a goal kicking fullback for the Chiefs, being the first player in Super Rugby this year to reach 100 points before missing the last four matches, has been cleared to play this week.

The Chiefs will meet the Blues at 7.35pm this Saturday.

Meanwhile at 7.35pm this Friday the Crusaders meet the Hurricanes while at 9.40 the Rebels play the Highlanders.
