Thousands of residents in the Suva-Nausori corridor are still without water and there is still no indication on when the water supply will be normalized.
Village News spoke to some frustrated residents who claim that the Water Supply department should come out and state the reasons for the shutdown.

The Water Supply Department has confirmed that Nakasi, Davuilevu Housing, Makoi, Tovata, Tuirara, Nepani, parts of Valelevu, New Town, Tacirua, Tamavua, Cunningham, Caubati and other surrounding areas are without water supply. This is due to an electrical fault at the Waila Treatment Plant.
