Another milestone achieved for Unwired Fiji as they launched high speed broadband internet services in the Jet Set town Nadi today.
Unwired Fiji Executive Director and Communications Fiji Limited Managing Director William Parkinson said Nadi has always been a priority for them and there is a huge demand for high speed internet service in the country.
Parkinson also said they are planning to extend their services to other parts of the country as well.
Areas covered will be Nadi Town, Martintar, Namaka, Denarau and the airport area.
The service will be distributed using a fixed wireless WiMAX service similar to the commercial grade networks Unwired has deployed in the Suva region.
Meanwhile, Unwired Fiji Director of Sales, Jignesh Chauhan said the coverage depends on a number of factors but expects to be able to deliver services to most part of Nadi.
