Cattle found to be infected with Brucellosis, are no longer just isolated to farms in the Tailevu North Area, as another farm was found in Wainibokasi with infected cattle.
Primary Industry Media Liaison Officer Jo Uluilakeba said the discovery was made after officials conducted tests on the livestock.
Uluilakeba said their officers have been sent around the country to conduct tests at various farms.
Meanwhile the sculling of cattle found to be infected with Brucellosis began today, which saw 30 from a farm in Wainivesi in the Tailevu North Area. A further 60 have been transported to the Nasinu abattoir for sculling on Monday.
Uluilakeba said they are expecting more than 300 cattle to be slaughtered based on their latest test results.
