The Ministry of Health has confirmed another case of Pandemic H1N1 2009 today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 11.
The new case was identified in Nadi and has also received treatment with close monitoring by the health team in the area.
Health Ministry's spokesperson, Iliesa Tora highlighted that samples continue to be sent to the testing facilities at Mataika House in Tamavua and the Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the situation closely over the next week.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Health and the National Task Force are confident that if people continue to observe simple rules they can be safe, example seeking medical attention if patient's condition does not improve.
