Another round of consultations is expected to take place once the People's Charter is finalised.
This has been confirmed by the Head of the Technical and Support Secretariat for the National Council for Building a Better Fiji John Samy.
Samy said the exercise currently being undertaken involves gathering people’s views on the draft charter, and once the necessary amendments are made taking into the account the views of the people, they would then need to take the final charter back to the people for consideration.
Meanwhile, Samy confirmed that they will now have to make further submissions to the Interim Government seeking additional funding, after the NCBBF yesterday endorsed that the timeframe for consultations on the draft Peoples Charter, be extended until mid December, this year.
