Another bus developed mechanical problems this morning endangering the lives of more than forty school children and injuring eleven when it went off the road and landed into a sugar cane field.
Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed the bus was on its normal trip from Nadi to Lautoka to drop school students when it developed mechanical problems.
The driver also lost control and as a result the bus went into a sugar cane field.
The Land Transport Authority and National Road Safety Council are expected to comment later.
