The opening agenda of tomorrows Annual Methodist Conference will be the election of the top four executive positions in the Methodist Church of Fiji.
The position of President held by Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca, Vice-President, Ratu Peni Volavola, General Secretary, Reverend Ame Tugawe and Assistant General Secretary Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu, will now be decided by the 800 members of the conference.
Rev Waqairatu has confirmed that those who will be elected to the position will take up the post next year.
Also former President Manasa Lasaro and Tomasi Kanailagi are unlikely to contest the race for the President's position, as they have been given other responsibilities in the church.
The annual choir competition came to an end last night at Furnival park, was close to $700 thousand dollars collected from the 600 choirs that took part.
