Anger is growing in Tonga as the people in the island kingdom learn that their King left for a holiday hours after being told about the MV Princess Ashika tragedy in which at least 60 people are feared dead.
Radio New Zealand reported that politicians have also revealed that they urged the government not to use the boat because it was so dangerous.
Our Tonga correspondent Paul Takala reported this morning, the families of those missing want answers as hopes are fading for the remaining 64 passengers.
Authorities last night were still trying to establish the identities of some of the missing passengers as several had managed to board without a ticket.
At first light this morning, an Air Force Orion resumed its search and an automated undersea vessel will be used to survey the ocean floor to make attempts to recover bodies from the Ashika.
