Former Labasa soccer team coach, Anand Sami has shown interest in coaching the Lautoka soccer team for the rest of the season.
Newly appointed Vice President of the Lautoka soccer Association, Amit Kishor confirmed that along with Sami, they have also been contacted by some other top level coaches from New Zealand.
However, Kishor said they will be advertising the coach's position this Saturday, and will be following normal procedures before appointing a new coach for the blues.
According to Lautoka soccer association, they will not rush into making appointments.
Meanwhile, Lautoka takes on Fiji Under 20 at Churchill Park in the National soccer league match tonight at 7pm.
Lautoka will also take on Rewa this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park at 3pm.
