American Samoa and Niue are intending to attend the 2009 Pacific Youth Festival in Suva in July.
Acting Director of Youth and Sports Sakaraia Tuva Naivalu said both countries confirmed their participation with the PYF Organising Committee secretariat a week ago.
Naivalu said American Samoa will send a 25 member delegation while Niue plans to send 30 participants.
He said the Secretariat had sent out Intention to Attend Forms to 30 countries and territories in the Pacific region through the Secretariat of the Pacific Community earlier this month.
The regional youth event is planned for the 13th to the 18th of July and will be held at the University of the South Pacific here in Suva.
