American Samoa and Niue have pulled out of the Pacific Games netball competition without giving any specific reason.

This has left only eight teams to compete in the competition and even the organisers had to re-draw the pools and scheduled.

Fiji the defending champions remains in Pool A and will now play against teams like Cook Islands, Solomons and Norfolk. Pool B has teams like Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Tokelau.

Fiji's opening pool match will be against Norfolk on 27th August.
