Everything is in place for So You Think to give Bart Cummings his 13th Melbourne Cup tomorrow, with the Cup’s king checking out of Melbourne’s Epworth Hospital yesterday.
As Cummings left hospital, punters rallied around So You Think, backing the Cup favourite from $4 to $3.50, following his Mackinnon Stakes win on Saturday.
Grants Waterhouse manager Vijen Kumar said the money tells them that So You Think and last year’s hero Shocking are the favourites.
The Melbourne Cup race starts tomorrow at 5pm.
