The Fiji Rugby Union should reconsider its decision and allow Nakavika villager Setefano Cakau to be part of the Digicel Fiji 7s team to Wellington and San Diego 7s tournaments.
Namosi chief and Fiji Military Force's Lieutenant Ifereimi Buaserau said Cakau is a missing link in the Fiji 7s team and should be given the chance.
Buaserau said you cannot ruin a players career unless he has been proven guilty and decisions should not be made on allegations. He said FRU should make its own decision rather than listening to others.
FRU yesterday for the second time dropped Cakau from the Digicel Fiji 7s squad and said he will only be included again if the allegations against him is cleared.
Cakau is alleged to have been part of a group of prison officers who were linked to the death of Josefa Baleiloa.
