A 48 year old man of Labasa who is alleged to have raped his de-facto wife twice will appear in the Labasa Magistrate’s Court this morning.
The man has been charged with two counts of rape.
It is alleged that the man raped his de-facto wife after they had an argument during a drinking party at their home last week.
The alleged incident took place on Friday and he was taken into custody on Monday.
