A 48 year old man of Labasa who is alleged to have raped his de-facto wife twice will appear in the Labasa Magistrates court tomorrow.
Labasa Police has confirmed that the man is being interviewed and is expected to be charged later this afternoon.
It is alleged that the man raped his defacto wife after they had an argument during a drinking party at their home.
The alleged incident took place on Friday and he was taken into custody on Monday.
According to Police the man was living with his wife and the victim in the same house.
