Alleged murderers to appear in court
The three are alleged to have murdered Singh on the 4th of this month at Shalimar street and when 28 year old Singh who had gone to pick up a few tools from his house in Shalimar street.
They are alleged to have attacked him with a spade and a crowbar.
The Post Mortem report shows that Singh died due to extensive skull fracture.
The first two suspects, Salesi Baleivuya and Navitalai Tiritabua were arrested the next day following a huge Police manhunt while the third accused Saimoni Tukana surrendered himself to Police over the weekend.
Baleivuya and Tiritabua are charged with five separate counts of damaging property, robbery with violence, murder and resisting arrest, while Tukana who is a casual labourer at Jittu Estate has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted robbery and one count of damaging property.
The matter will be heard before Judge Justice Salesi Temo this hour.
