The case of the 32 year old father of Lekutu Bua who allegedly murdered his 14 month old baby has been transferred to the Labasa Magistrates Court today from the Suva Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Eparama Rokoika transferred the case after it was mentioned that Ratu Beni Baleimualevu's psychiatric report from the Saint Giles Hospital states that he is in the right state of mind to stand trial.
DPP John Rabuku asked Magistrate Rokoika to further remand the accused in custody while he is transferred from Suva to Labasa.
Magistrate Rokoika then ordered that the case be called on the 21st of this month in Labasa.
