The man who allegedly murdered his wife and two children in Nanuku settlement in Vatuwaqa yesterday is still admitted at the CWM Hospital in a critical condition and under police guard.
Police confirmed that the man allegedly tried to hurt himself after the alleged murder.
The deceased mother is in her late 20s and her two children are younger than 10 years.
Police were notified when the owner of the house where the murder took place raised the alarm.
