A Bua man who allegedly killed his 14 month old daughter after claiming she was possessed by evil spirits has been deemed mentally unfit to take a plea.
Ratu Beni Salabogi back for examination appeared before Suva Magistrate Eperama Rokoika in the last hour after he was taken back to the Saint Giles Hospital for a further examination upon the directive of the Court.
Magistrate Rokoika has ordered that Salabogi remain in the custody of the St. Giles Hospital and a report be prepared on whether he is fit to take the stand when the case will be called on September 1st.
Ratu Salabogi has been in custody since August 9th.
