Two employees of a prominent company in Suva charged with larceny by servant for allegedly stealing $44,000 from the company are expected to appear in court today.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two went to deposit the weekends takings at a bank in Lami on Monday when they allegedly decided to share the money.

One of the suspects then informed police that they were robbed.

Upon investigation police found out that both had allegedly stolen the money.

They were arrested last night and all the money has been recovered.

One of the suspects has also been charged with giving false information to police.
