A Labasa Businessman charged with obtaining over $5,700 under false pretense by FICAC has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Labasa Magistrates Court heard that on the 28th of September in 2006, Jai Surrendra Prakash Sharma who owns Babasiga Spares and Hardware was allegedly awarded a contract to supply building materials worth $5,700 to supply building materials under the Rural Housing Assistance Scheme but has allegedly not made any delivery to date.
The case has been adjourned to July 2nd for mention.
