Taveuni police are questioning a number of people in relation to drug cultivation and trafficking.
Deputy Director Operations SP Erami Raibe has confirmed that the arrests were made after numerous raids and some of those who have been arrested were on the wanted list for drug peddling.
Some other people have also been arrested for robbery with violence and other criminal activities.
