Three men charged with conspiracy to commit arson and attempted arson were today further remanded in custody by the Suva High Court.
Hem Chand and Veer Chand of Omkar road, Narere and Navin Yogesh Lal of Caubati are alleged to have burnt the vehicle belonging to the Police Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra in March this year.
The High Court refused to grant them bail due to the seriousness of the offence and the matter has been adjourned to 9th of next month.
The court heard that accused Hem Chand and Veer Chand who are immediate neighbours of the complainant allegedly colluded with Navin Lal on the early hours of 14th March and committed the alleged offence.
