Police have charged with murder the 28-year-old man, who is alleged to have killed his 39-year-old wife at their Ragg Avenue, Namadi Heights home early Sunday morning.
Deputy Divisional Crime Officer, Southern, ASP Keshri Lal confirmed that he has been charged and is expected to appear in court this afternoon.
It was confirmed that the deceased was a businesswoman from the United Kingdom and moved into the house a few weeks ago with her husband and three children.
There were stab wounds found on the victim and a knife was recovered from the scene. It is believed that the alleged murder resulted from a domestic dispute.
