A 32-year-old woman of Toorak, who was arrested for allegedly stealing from a supermarket in Valelevu, is now admitted at the CWM Hospital.
Assistant Police spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed the woman was caught red-handed stealing items by employees of New World Supermarket who then alerted the police.
She was taken to the Valelevu Police Station and was locked in the cell. After some time, she collapsed and was transferred to the CWM Hospital.
She is expected to be charged soon.
