A 14-year-old juvenile of Taveuni was allowed bail by Magistrate Penijamini Lomaloma at the Savusavu Court today.
He is expected to appear at the Labasa High Court on August 31st when a plea will be taken on the charge of manslaughter.
He allegedly caused the death of a 12-year-old student last Friday after throwing a stone at him in Taveuni.
The victim’s post mortem report revealed that the extent of injury to his head was severe and that this was caused by a stone.
