A Navua man charged with 22 counts of rape appeared before Magistrate Ana Rokomokoti at the Navua Court today.
The court heard that the man who is in his early 30s, allegedly raped his sister earlier this year 22 times.
The Navua Court has transferred the case to the High Court in Suva where a plea is expected to be taken on the 17th of this month.
Kumar has been remanded in custody.
